How Do I Describe The Process to My Child?

There are 7 main areas of our brain that we use for learning.  I do activities with you, the student like puzzles and word games that we call tests or subtests.  These activities tell me how your brain works to learn.  It shows me your strengths and weaknesses and how those strengths and weaknesses effect your reading, math, and writing skills.  Then I am able to write a report that explains to you, your parents, and your teachers how you learn best and what they can do in the classroom that will help you be as successful as possible.

Serving Families in DFW & North Texas

Brainworks Assessments & Intervention Solutions is proud to serve school-aged students who are facing academic and social challenges. Our staff currently offers specialized testing service packages for ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety which are some of the most common issues that today’s students are experiencing. Many students struggle with time management, task initiation, timely homework completion as well as depression and anxiety as a result of difficulties at school. These common struggles can often be resolved or alleviated by simple accommodations that their teachers and school administrations can provide. Most school districts require that a student struggling with depression, anxiety, or ADHD symptoms undergo psychological testing by a qualified mental health professional in order to receive these accommodations – and that’s where we come in! While school districts can provide some testing services to students seeking accommodations, the wait time is often very long, which means that your student is stuck waiting for the testing that is needed for them to receive the accommodations that will aid them in succeeding academically and socially in school. Brainworks is ready to partner with students, their parents, and teachers to provide timely testing services so that more students can expediently receive the testing and help that they need to excel in school. Send us an email today for more information!
